First Response Emergency Care (FREC 4)
The Level 4 Certificate for experienced first responders ready to take the next step.
FREC 4 builds on FREC 3 with more advanced assessment, treatment and decision-making. It combines taught days with a portfolio of clinical practice.

- Advanced patient assessment
- Medical, trauma and obstetric emergencies
- Pharmacology and medicines
- Clinical decision-making and documentation
Assessment and certification
Taught modules, practical assessments, written exams and a portfolio of practice. You will need FREC 3 and relevant experience to enrol. The certificate is valid for three years.
