Adult Basic Life Support in Clinical Practice
Adult resuscitation training designed for healthcare and clinical settings.
This Level 3 course is designed for healthcare staff and follows clinical practice, including the use of pocket masks and bag-valve-masks where appropriate.
What the course covers
- Recognising the deteriorating patient and cardiac arrest
- Adult BLS in a clinical environment
- Airway adjuncts and ventilation devices
- AED use and team roles
Assessment and certification
Practical assessment by your trainer plus a short written paper. Annual update training is recommended to keep your skills current.

- Deliver adult BLS in clinical practice
- Use ventilation devices safely
- Meet annual clinical resuscitation requirements
