After a busy season, we are pleased to share that Full Blue has expanded its event medical cover across the South of England. Over the past year we have welcomed new clinicians and first aiders to the team, invested in additional kit and refined the way we plan cover with organisers.
It means we can say yes to more events, earlier, and give organisers the same careful planning whether they are running a village fete for a few hundred people or a weekend festival with camping.
What has changed
The biggest change is capacity. A larger, experienced team gives us more flexibility on busy weekends and lets us put the right mix of skills on site rather than simply filling rota slots.
We have also added to our equipment, including:
- additional treatment tents and portable shelters for outdoor sites
- more defibrillators, oxygen and trauma kits for roaming teams
- improved radios and communication plans so teams can escalate quickly
- clear incident recording that supports your post-event debrief
Planning that starts with your risks
Every booking still begins with a conversation. We look at your audience, the activities on site, the layout, expected weather, the availability of alcohol and how far you are from the nearest emergency department. From there we build a medical plan that sets out the resources we recommend and why.
Good event cover is not about the number of people in hi-vis. It is about the right people, in the right places, with a plan everyone understands.
That plan is written to support conversations with your local authority and Safety Advisory Group, and we are happy to join those meetings if it helps.
Who we work with
Our event work covers a wide range of settings, including:
- music festivals and outdoor concerts
- running, cycling and endurance sports
- agricultural shows and county fairs
- school, charity and community events
- corporate and private functions
Alongside event cover, we continue to deliver first aid training with our partner training providers, and internal quality assurance and consultancy for training centres. Many organisers find it useful to train their own stewards and volunteers with us before the season starts, so the whole site team knows what to do while our medics are on their way.
Book early for next season
Dates for the spring and summer fill up quickly, particularly bank holiday weekends. If you are planning an event, we recommend getting in touch as soon as you have a date and a rough idea of numbers. We can then provide an initial quote and help you shape your plan as details are confirmed.
To talk through your event, send us an event brief or call us on 0330 533 0999. You can also email sales@fullblue.co.uk and a member of the team will come back to you within one working day.
